isitadrydaytoday.lol is a small, independently run tool that answers one question: is alcohol legally on sale where you are, right now. How the data works

Answers are drawn from three layers, in priority order: a live override sheet for recently announced changes (like election dry days), crowdsourced reports from visitors, and a static rules database covering national holidays, state-specific dry days, and country-level alcohol law for India, the Middle East, South and Southeast Asia, and beyond.

The static rules are compiled from publicly available government notifications and excise department publications. Lunar-calendar-based dates (such as Thailand's Buddhist holy days) are reconfirmed and updated each year.

Limitations

This is an informational tool, not a legal reference. Local enforcement can vary, and last-minute government orders — especially election-related dry days — may not always be reflected in time. Always check with your local store or municipal authority before making plans.
